Fox’s primetime musical juggernaut, “Glee,” adds to the network’s top 10 haul on the Billboard 200, as “Glee: The Music: Season Three: The Graduation Album” begins at No. 8. The set includes songs leading up to this past Tuesday’s third season finale, in which Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) was accepted to “NYADA,” aka, the “New York Academy of Dramatic Arts.”

The album marks the series’ 13th Billboard 200 top 10 among 13 studio compilations. Since it first reached the top tier (No. 4) with “Glee: Season One: The Music Volume One” the week of Nov. 21, 2009, the cast boasts more than twice as many top 10s as the next closest act. Justin Bieber ranks second with five top 10 sets in that span.

What better way to bounce back from last night’s bittersweet Glee finale than with a little retail therapy?

From her rising star and diamond chain to her Finn nameplate charm, Rachel’s necklaces have always stood out on the series. But her latest accessory — a pendant in the shape of an apple — made quite a statement as she bid farewell to her friends at McKinley High and set out for New York City. (No need to shed too many tears though, she’ll still be around when the series returns.)

“This season was all about Rachel going to New York to start her Broadway career, so Lea and I had a conversation about what the necklace should be. We decided that a little apple, like taking a famous bite out of the Big Apple, would be appropriate,” says costume designer Lou Eyrich, who commissioned go-to jeweler Ryan Ryan to create the piece.

Though the necklace was custom-made for the show, it’s now available for purchase online for $215, alongside the other iconic Glee necklaces that Ryan has designed over the past three seasons. Here’s your chance to accessorize every outfit with a touch of Finn.

Now that the graduating class of McKinley High has said their big goodbye following Tuesday’s season finale, fans might be wondering what will go down in season four. It seems that much of the cast will be dispersing across the country to pursue lives outside of the New Directions, while others stay behind to finish high school.

When MTV News caught up with the cast recently, Lea Michele explained that season four’s “show-within-a-show” format will allow them to expand on the plots already introduced while also allowing new plots to breathe life into the series.

“You basically have the kids who have graduated and their story lines, as well as the kids back in high school,” she said. “I think it’ll be really great because it gives us the opportunity for the characters who have been on the show for a while to move on and to start new story lines, but then the kids who are newer on the show will get to continue on.”

“I think it’ll add more to the show,” Chris Colfer added, noting that with guest stars like Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson signed on to make cameos, fans should expect a lot of “awesomeness.”

So is Michele equally excited by the prospect of chilling with the two fashionable A-listers on set? “They’re the best,” she gushed. “It’s really cool.”

Michele and Colfer are hardly the only two characters returning to “Glee.” Show creator Ryan Murphy confirmed that everyone will be back for more. And, Darren Criss notes, it could mean some drama for Blaine and Kurt. “I think people got hung up on the idea that it’s over, which it’s not at all,” he said. “It’s just another departure point. When you graduated high school it’s not the end of the world.”

“[Blaine]’s going to be a senior. I’m curious to see where his journey takes him,” Criss added. “Him and Kurt seem to be pretty strong, but Chris [Colfer] and I liked a little drama, so we like things being shook up maybe for more than one episode. So, I don’t know. We’ll see. I’m just happy to be invited to the party.”

Lea Michele already has a whopping 14 tattoos — but is she ready to get more? The short answer: Heck no!

“I have 14, but they’re all so little that you don’t see [them]. That’s why I’m done, though, because all [of] my secret, hidden spots are done; my real-estate is over,” she quipped Monday night, during a taping of The Late Show With David Letterman.

Where did her obsession with getting tattoos come from?

“For me, it’s, weirdly enough, a family activity,” she explained, on why she’s gotten so many tattoos over the years. “I come from a very big Italian family; tattoos are very popular. So, it’ll be, like, Easter, and we’ll be talking, and we’ll be like, ‘Let’s all go get tattoos!’ And then we get super sentimental, and then the next day I wake up with another butterfly on my foot. And I’m like, ‘[It] seemed more important in the moment.’”

Meanwhile, Lea — who is currently dating her Glee co-star, Cory Monteith — also spoke about her hit FOX series, which airs its season three finale tonight. Given that many of the kids — including her character, Rachel Berry — are graduating, how will everything shake out when the show returns in the fall?

“You’ll still see the kids that this year were juniors; you’ll still see them next year in high school. And then you’ll follow the people who have graduated outside of high school, whenever they may go,” she said.

“We did shoot some scenes in New York, for the finale,” she teased. Iiiiiinteresting!

Glee airs tonight at 8PM on FOX.

Glee season 3 is ending next week and sending some of its characters off. Those leaving McKinley behind (but not Glee) include Lea Michele’s Rachel and Chris Colfer’s Kurt, who are heading to New York for season 4.

Teen Choice Awards 2012 Nominations

The nominations for this year’s Teen Choice Awards have been released, and unsurprisingly, Glee has been nominated yet again for Choice TV Show: Comedy (it won in 2011). It’s going up against The Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, and new shows 2 Broke Girls and New Girl. Since these awards are voted for by teenagers, it seems likely that Glee will win again.

Meanwhile, Chris Colfer is up for Choice TV Actor: Comedy, and he’s going up against Modern Family’s Ty Burrell, How I Met Your Mother’s Neil Patrick Harris, Two and a Half Men’s Ashton Kutcher, and The Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons. Finally, Lea Michele is up for Choice TV Actress: Comedy, going against iCarly’s Miranda Cosgrove, The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco, New Girl’s Zooey Deschanel, and Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara.

Both Colfer and Michele had strong storylines this season, and they do deserve to be recognized for that in some way. Glee could very well end up winning because teenagers are the ones who vote for the Teen Choice Awards. Since it has won for Comedy Show before, it wouldn’t be surprising if it won again. Meanwhile, with how much the show has focused on Kurt and Rachel’s dreams to go to NYADA, preparing for their auditions, and Rachel doing what she had to after she choked, it’s no surprise they’re the ones nominated for the awards this year and it’s likely that at least one of them, if not both, will take home wins.

The “Glee” cast has had an emotional moment filming one of their last scenes together and they talk about it in a new sneak peek for the season 3 finale. Though she will be back in the choir room next season, Jenna Ushkowitz claims the vibe will be different after the seniors leave the school. “It’s sort of the end of an era,” so she says.

Dianna Agron says she knew she would be crying filming the “Goodbye” episode, so she used waterproof mascara during the production. “I wouldn’t trade it for anything… I’ll remember this forever,” so the Quinn depicter says of her experience on the show.

The likes of Lea Michele and Vanessa Lengies are also caught on camera weeping on the set, while Naya Rivera admits she has been avoiding an interview about the final episode because she didn’t want to cry.

In “Glee” season 3 finale, McKinley High’s class of 2012 looks to the past and present, while contemplating the future as the graduation is coming. To air Tuesday, May 22 at 9/8c, the episode will feature Gloria Estefan’s guest starring as Santana’s mother. The Cuban-born singer’s scenes are previewed in another behind-the-scene video and several photos.

Earlier this week, FOX revealed that Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson will join “Glee” for guest arcs in Season 4, and two of the show’s continuing stars — Chris Colfer and Lea Michele – cannot wait.

“I’m so excited,” Chris said, responding to the SJP news, while speaking with Access Hollywood at the FOX Upfronts earlier in the week. “I’m such a huge fan. I’m really, really excited and I think what they [have] planned for the two characters is going to be really, really great and the fans are gonna be very, very happy.”

Lea Michele, whose character, Rachel Berry, will graduate on next week’s “Glee” alongside Chris’ Kurt Hummel, hinted that Kate’s six-episode arc will relate to her character’s journey beyond McKinley High.

“I’m so excited and when I spoke to Ryan [Murphy, ‘Glee’s’ co-creator] about it [earlier this week], he was telling me about our storyline, I just about died. We’re coming into our fourth season and to be this excited about our storylines and about the people that we’re getting to work with, I think, is just really awesome and I think she’s incredible. She’s one of the best comedic actresses out there right now and so I can’t wait to work with her and what he has in store for us is so cool.”

“Glee” concludes its third season on Tuesday, May 22 at 9 PM ET/PT, and Lea said graduation was the right move for many of the characters.

“It definitely felt like the proper next step,” Lea said, before hinting at Rachel Berry’s future. “We’ve been working on this show now since 2008, so to get to take these characters to new locations and to be exploring some new material — a little bit more mature and older stuff? As an actor, to get to take a character on a TV show from one location and now welcome her to something new is very rare to see on TV, I feel.”

“Ditto,” Chris chimed in.

This fall, “Glee” will move nights, airing Thursdays at 9 PM, and Lea said it will mean she won’t be able to watch one of the shows she enjoys in real time.

“I’m just going to have to set my DVR for ‘Grey’s [Anatomy],’” she noted.

Twitter is a blessing that affords celebrities the ability to communicate with fans and update on their projects. But it can also be a curse when it sparks unwanted rumors — as “Glee” star Amber Riley found out the hard way.

Gleeks thought the actress wasn’t returning to the show next fall when Riley tweeted, “Just closed a chapter in my life, the only thing I’ve known day in and day out for three years. I’m going to miss the whole Glee family, seeing them everyday!”

When the show’s creator Ryan Murphy spoke to Vulture, he dispelled the gossip. “A lot of people have been writing Dianna [Agron] off the show, Amber’s off the show — they’re not off the show,” he said. “I think Amber was talking about that bittersweet feeling of, ‘I’ll never be in the choir room with that exact group of people.’ … She’s excited about where her character is going. They all are. I wanted to do the right thing by all of them.”

MTV News caught up with Agron before the news broke that her character was returning. The actress told us that while she’s interested in the future of Quinn, she likes the story line to be a surprise.

“It’s so funny, because I do write, and there was part of me that was like, ‘Oh, I know these characters inside and out. What if they gave me a shot to sit in the writer’s room and toy away with that?’ But at the same time, it’s like, ‘I don’t want to have any say in that.’ I love the surprise element of it.”

While fans need not worry about the fate of Lea Michele, Cory Monteith or Chris Colfer following reports that the show will track Rachel, Finn and Kurt’s New York adventures, it’s hard not to wonder what’s in store for the glee-club seniors as they graduate on the season finale. With Quinn (Agron) off to Yale and Puck (Mark Salling) headed to California to expand his pool-cleaning business, some characters could get tossed to the side. But Murphy said that he told the actors if they wanted to stay on the show, he had a place for them — including Matthew Morrison’s Will Schuester and Jane Lynch’s Coach Sue Sylvester. “They’re all coming back,” he said. “Anyone who is a regular is coming back. Everyone said yes.”

But he does clarify that they may not come back for the long haul. “It doesn’t mean everyone will be doing 22 episodes, but everyone wants to stay in our family and our world,’” he revealed. “I wanted to make sure those actors know that if they want to have a home, they have a home. If they want to explore new and different things while also having a home, that is also an option.”

“Glee” returns to Fox this fall, moving from Tuesday to Thursday nights, and is set to begin season four with a second Britney Spears tribute episode.

On Tuesday night, the long-hyped Lindsay Lohan episode of “Glee” hit the airwaves. Although her appearance was short, it was also full of sweet, self-deprecating humor. The actress, playing herself, was able to make cracks about her contentious public image.

Joking on the show that she’s “in full ‘image re-branding mode’ here, people,” Lohan appeared as a judge at Nationals choir competition in Chicago, where the Gleeks of the New Directions were performing for all the glory. Lohan’s glory may have lasted only two minutes and 46 seconds, but she packed some punches, even taking a shot at “The Voice,” which has been going head-to-head with “Glee” network Fox’s own “American Idol” this season.

“I show up here and there isn’t even a red button I can push and a chair that can spin me around, where I can then point at a kid onstage and say, ‘I want to work with you’? I’m seriously firing my manager.”

Leading up to her cameo, there had been lots of chatter that LaLohan may not have been all that professional about the gig. After being cast on the show in March, rumors began to spread weeks later that the actress was late to set because she had been hitting the party scene right before she had to shoot.

While co-star Perez Hilton (who also played a judge on the episode) skirted around the issue when MTV News caught up with him, the show’s stars Lea Michele and Chris Colfer seemed unaware of the controversy.

Colfer shared that he was “not surprised, unfortunately” to hear that people had been spreading rumors about her, with his pal Michele adding that everything seemed kosher when she was on set.

“I mean, you never really know what’s true and what’s not,” she explained to MTV News at the Fox upfront in New York City this week. “From what we know, she did her stuff and we were busy shooting ours.”

Regardless of what really happened when Lohan appeared on the show, perhaps this line stands as her finest statement about her relationship with the public: “Is there anything better than someone making a comeback?”

The show’s third season finale, “Goodbye,” airs May 22. Season four will kick off this fall with a spankin’-new Britney Spears tribute episode, as well as cameos by Kate Hudson and Sarah Jessica Parker.

The bangs and beachy waves combo is one Lea Michele effortlessly mastered, especially this week at a FOX Upfront event in New York City. And it’s a look her hairstylist Sarah Potempa chose carefully. “With Lea’s bangs, this style helps to add volume and texture, and the bouncy waves draw attention to her eyes,” Potempa told InStyle.com. To create the look, Potempa separated the Glee star’s strands into two sections, split each into three horizontal rows, and used her self-rotating Beachwaver ($199; sarahpotempa.com) to create the soft waves. For the finishing touch, she adds: “Remember to wait until both sides have cooled before running fingers through your hair. With this kind of pattern, it needs to stay in that shape until your hair cools.”
